LTR
The customer who designed these patches with our team chose a metallic gold thread for the background of the design. Under any light source, the gold shimmers in a unique way, helping the dark green wreath and logo design stand out in crisp detail.
GO2
The way that the different hews of blue and black work together to create a kind of shadowing effect gives these letters a certain amount of depth you wouldn't expect from a 2D design.
Mt. Prospect
Using metallic gold thread was a no-brainer when the customer for this project said they were looking for a phoenix design. The contrasting red and black thread helps the image stand out in clear detail, and the metallic gold gives a unique shimmer effect to the fiery bird.
Lariatville
While this isn't an official military patch, the color scheme is very similar to that used when creating an operational camouflage patch design. The different greens, browns and golds would fit perfectly on an official uniform, but the yellow sunset and red and white Lariatville banner make the artwork a little too conspicuous for soldiers on duty.

The simplest designs will sometimes make the biggest impact. The red design pops against the black backdrop and helps the finer details in the artwork stand out.
Skull
The classic skull and crossbones motif can be spun in all sorts of different ways. The contrasting colors of this design help define the features of the design, helping the familiar artwork make an impact.
Tower

Swissy Club of New England
Traditional round patches normally use the text around the edge as a border for the artwork, but the dog and lighthouse designs inside this patch protrude out of the center circle. This is a fun way to create a striking design.
Robot
This patch is smaller than average, but the sad robot conveys plenty of character. It just goes to show that creating a custom shape design is sometimes better than ordering a larger round patch if you're hoping to tell a story.
Victorian
The bold "V" imposed over the red shield is reminiscent of a classic coat of arms. The customer asked for a 100% embroidered patch design to make sure all of the fine details around the shield would have crisp detail.
Korean Outpost
The 501st Legion has outposts all over the world. We've had the pleasure of helping garrisons across the U.S. design their own Star Wars patches, and it's always a please to help out teams on the other side of the world as well, like the Korean Garrison.
Rinker's Rally

Stetson Troop
The rockers on the top and bottom of this patch carry text that otherwise would have needed to be embroidered around the edge of the artwork. This gives the design a little more breathing room. Also, if you look closely, you might spot a Superman emblem hidden in plain sight towards the center of this design.
USS Kitty Hawk
This patch has an incredible amount of fine detail for an embroidered design. The tiny emblems surrounding the USS Kitty Hawk show just how precise our production team can get when crafting a custom embroidered patch.
